Request for an AOL 4.0, 3.0 client

Hello everyone,

I am a huge fan of the old AOL Services. I recently started down the path of memory lane and even subbed to AOL DESKTOP GOLD which is sadly a shadow of its former self. When I mean Shadow its barely even that and the chat rooms are well strange....

I would like to know if its possible to develop a working AOL 4.0 or AOL 3.0 client that uses the bones of the those old versions to create new forums (Basically AOL Wall Gardened sites) or bring back up old ancient forums that the code is still there. The old chats the old service in general?

One guy out there has a literal 4.0 simulator but it really doesn't do anything except log on. Imagine what could be done using the bones of an old client like that.

Yes aol 4.0 has a thing in the settings where you can change the host to something else like using iwarg.ddns.net and using that to work with aol 4.0 and 3.0 like they did with aim

Add me on aim - drewcxking99xx Add me on msn - drewcz1@hotmail.com
