About CT5880 Driver:
Patched es137x driver for the onboard CT5880 soundchip on Gigabyte GA-7DX(R) mainboards. May work with other Creative CT5880 based mainboards.
Installation:
1) go to /boot/beos/system/add-ons/kernel/drivers/bin
2) back up the old "es137x" driver
3) replace the old "es137x" file by the new one
4) restart BeOS
Note: If the new driver does not work, you can restore the old diver by copying the old "es137x" file over the new driver file.
Credits to Dmitry Baramzin (dima@ors.kirov.ru) for his patch of the same driver -- which sadly did not work for me. I was able to compare his patch and the original file to figure out what had to be patched for the GA-7DX mainboard.
