is AIM Service offline?

Hello! I started up AIM only to see the login screen stuck at
1.Connecting...
Are the servers down? If so, the server status tab isnt showing it.
Also, what should i know about this project?
Is there time when AIM/ICQ Services are down because of server cost?
If it is so, please tell me!

I assumed the servers only stayed online until 10 PM but no. Thing still says it's online.

Odd. Thank you for the information though! Hopefully more news on new releases, updates etc.. will be added to the site soon!


I would love to be able to direct connect, talk, send and receive files and make an occasional video call like the old days!
