Can aim 4.7 and phoenix desktop be on Windows ME

Im getting a Y2K COmputer and I want it on it so can it be used.

Phoenix Desktop requires a .NET Framework which can only be used on XP and up, so I recommend waiting for the AOLx client, which may work on Windows 98/ME.

As for the AIM client, that's a good version to use, though AIM 5.1 is the recommended client for Phoenix from what I can tell. (The 5.1-5.9 deadlock bug seems to only be a Windows 8, 8.1, and 10 thing)
