cannot connect in phoenix aim with pidgin

im on linux when i try to connect to aim with pidgin (im french) it says:Réception d'une réponse non attendue de https://api.screenname.aol.com/auth/clientLogin

if i translate to english it says:
Received an unexpected response from https://api.screenname.aol.com/auth/clientLogin

there is a way to fix this please!

I think the Pidgin plugin you're trying to use is too new. And you'd need to have a patched plugin anyway, because I don't know of any Pidgin plugins that support changing the AIM server. I dunno, I'm not really a huge fan of Pidgin to begin with :/

Try using Pidgin 2.13.0 and change the oscar login host to iwarg.ddns.net and change connection security to not use encryption.
