buddy list not available

STARLY

I really am confused on this thing, because I haven't seen anything about it at all. whenever I try to login to my AIM/AOL account for phoenix, a message appears saying "Your buddy list is currently not available, but it has not been lost. Please try again later." I have been trying to find out what was wrong for the longest time and I still don't know what it is. it got bad to the point where AIM doesn't let me find any buddies at all. if anyone knows the cause of the problem, please let me know. I have tried downloading AIM again, different versions, and they all do the same.
