Can't use AIM 5.1 on Windows 10

Hi, so, I was trying that since yesterday
I downloaded AIM 5.1 on my Windows 10 computer, and when I open it, my computer totally freezes. I tried to use in compatibility mode on Windows XP SP3 but it didn't work. I tried to use AimTramer but it didn't work too. Can someone help me to fix that? Thank you.

I have adamantly refused to go anywhere near windows 8 or 10 so I could only conjecture as to the exact cause..

use AIM Pro on windows 10 it doesn't freeze your computer!
