iChat 6 (OSX 10.7) won't connect to aim

My iChat on Mac will not work with the built in aim feature, i set the server to iwarg.ddns.net and the port to 5190 in prefrences and can't log in. Any solutions plz?

The server configuration can be used with AIM and AIM only. iChat is a different protocol and won't work. Check the Downloads section for more.

early version of iChat used the same OSCAR protocol as AIM, but later versions may have switched to the SSL encrypted version making them unable to connect..
