Instant Messages Not Sending In AIM 5.9

Hello there.

Well, it's because I keep on getting these errors every time that I hit the send button:

"Your buddy cannot receive messages as quickly as you are sending them. Please allow more time between sending each message."

What should I do to fix this problem?

And also this other error keeps popping up as well: "Unknown error. Try again later."

there's nothing you yourself can do, since it's likely a problem in the server software, I haven't encountered this problem yet so it's difficult to diagnose.. when did that start?

Right after I installed AIM 5.9, and changed the server settings to point to this server, and tried to add buddies to my buddy list...
