AIM 1.0 does nor work... it says that it is not compatible, i have a 64-bit computer. Is AIM 1.0 for 16-bit computers? (like win 3/3.1/95/98)

AIM 1.0 does work, but not on 64-bit versions of Windows. 64-bit Windows can run 32-bit software, but not 16-bit software like AIM 1.0. 32-bit versions of Windows (including Windows 10 32-bit) can run 16-bit applications, although you're better off running a 32-bit version of AIM on 32-bit Windows XP or later because it'll most likely run better. I have AIM 1.0 running on Windows for Workgroups 3.11 and it does connect to the server. It just can't be run on a 64-bit version of Windows.

AIM 1.0 was both 16 and 32-bit. The 32-bit version's installer just happens to be 16-bit (cough Wise installer cough) and that's what causes it to not run on 64-bit Windows.
