Yahoo Messenger Not working?

I download the Yahoo Messenger then I download the YPatcher

But I put in my Yahoo Id and Password I got a message saying Incorrect ID or Password
is something wrong Or did I do something wrong ?

Please help !

Is your server down ? because I getting a Message on AIM Saying Yahoo will be right back

Your Yahoo Messenger can use Yahoo Accounts ID (username) to work still? Or when I sign up on to this website username ?
