AIM 3.5 Error when Startup

Everytime I load up AIM 3.5, it shows an error message with the text:
"The procedure entry point ProtoIsSessionOnline could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\AIM95\oscmail.ocm"
After I click ok, it starts up for real. Does anyone know how to get rid of the error message?

Reinstall AIM, it seems as though the file is either missing or corrupt. You can get AIM 3.5 (the only public release), here:

http://storage.levelleap.com/nina/clients/aim/AOL_Instant_Messenger_3.5.1808.exe

The file itself is for the AIM-mail plugin, which most people never use and AIM doesn't need it to start (as you noticed).

If you already have the installer, perhaps it is corrupt. If the problem continues, please tell us the version of Windows you are using and whether or not it's 64bit.
